With around four weeks until famous NCAA men’s teams basketball famous some of you guys may be interested in some team to support. Our pick this year is Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team. This team represents University of Alabama in NCAA and plays in Southeastern Conference. Alabama won SEC titles in 2021 and 2023.

The team currently holds second place in their conference with 19 wins and 8 losses. They have a strong chance to participate in March Madness tournament main bracket.

The Offense

The team is lead by head coach Nate Oats who is in charge of the team for the fifth straight season, and used to coach the team from University of Buffalo before that. Great offensive play by the team let it rise in ranking during last few weeks of play. The offense of Alabama Crimson Tide in recent time is one of the best in the whole league. The team is known for its high scoring and fast paced style of play.

Mark Sears who plays as a guard is currently leading the team’s offensive efforts with over 20 points per game this season. Sears leads the entire Southeastern Conference in scoring as of today. If it holds, he would be the first Alabama basketball player to average 20 or more in a season. The previous time this result was achieved by James “Hollywood” Robinson in 1993.

The Defense

The defensive side of the game on the other hand raises questions about its effectiveness and needs to be improved if the team plans to go far.

Last year Alabama basketball team was stopped at Sweet 16 stage of March Madness and we hope this year they will go farther! Their experience in the final stage of the tournament has grown and it’s time to show all their might this March.
